Patrick Rogers (Political Leader), Paco Smith (Chairman)

Belizeans and true friends of Belize (as well as the pundits who seem to want to persist),

Your Belize Progressive Party - BPP embarked on its nationwide tour, via its first stop in the Belmopan community of Salvapan and there is no stopping us. As was promised a little over a year ago, "We are here to stay" and we meant it!

I wish to congratulate the entire BPP Family, in particular Charles Leslie Jr, BPP Belmopan Constituency Political Leader, and his CEC Team for the hard work they put in to make our initial Public Consultation a success.

Charles Leslie Jr. delivering his message of hope to Salvapan, Belmopan.

It is through such efforts your BPP shall continue to consult with every corner of this nation, in order to ensure that your: thoughts, ideas and concerns do not fall on deaf ears and are inevitably factored into charting the path for Belize's sustainable development.

There is no doubt, we are living in a state of TYRANNY under the PUDP system and the BPP is "The New Political Consciousness" that is necessary for Belize to emerge, stronger, from this rut. As the party's Political Leader,Patrick Rogers, succinctly articulated, we at the BPP believe in Social Democracy and therefore are undeniably a Labour oriented party. With this orientation and commitment, your BPP stands in solidarity with the BNTU and the other social partners who demand the adoption, implementation and strict adherence to all Good Governance principles and practises.

Patrick Rogers delivering his message of hope to Salvapan, Belmopan.

It is in this regard and steeped in the fundamental acknowledgment of the supremacy of the Almighty, that we embark on this nationwide tour that will see us spread the positive message of HOPE as we consult with you, the hard working people of Belize, in search of developing solutions to the myriad of issues facing the nation. Belizeans deserve a government that is committed to the sustainable development of this nation's human and natural resources and it is in this regard, your BPP has set the tone for such engagement.

Let it be known that the BPP shall not bow to the influence of liberal elements which seek to jump onto the bandwagon. Our philosophy and conviction is clear and shall not be diluted. We are here to represent the Belizean people, first and foremost, bar none.

Therefore Belize, amid the turmoil that has beset the nation, rest assured that your Belize Progressive Party - BPP is working, from the ground up, not from the top-down, as is the case with the PUDP. Admittedly, the pace at which we are building may not be to the liking of some, but the fact remains that we are building both strategically and soundly, so as to ensure that the people of Belize, ultimately obtain the leadership they deserve.

With that, I again, congratulate everyone who made our inaugural Public Consultation a reality and look forward to joining my brothers and sisters in the struggle as we continue on our nationwide tour.

For those who persist in seeking to try to discourage our efforts, I trust by now it is becoming increasingly clear that you are fighting a losing battle, for we shall: endure, develop and emerge as the true choice of the people, to guide this nation on its appropriate path to recovery and eventual prosperity for all Belizeans.

Bearing this in mind, I wish to call on all who support our efforts, by informing that we have a considerable task ahead and therefore remind you that many hands make the load lighter.

Therefore, it is our hope that your support shall increasingly evolve into an increasingly more, active membership as we grow and build the BPP in the appropriate fashion.

We look forward to consulting with you, as our efforts continue! Together We Will!
