Warning for Cattle Producers in Belize
The following is cut from a top Ag-Analyst that could affect prices for cattle for some time to come.
If Trump stop importing from Mexico (Belize) is forecast to go down or at best stall and demand drop.
Not for sure, but recent rains in US and Mexico have excess pasture that allows ranchers to hold market bound cattle for a long time...and they buy less new feeders.
Ag-producers should also be on the alert for a battle, or, a “trade war” with Mexico - hope dearly it does not come to be.
A trade war with Mexico would be down and dirty, bearish for grains and livestock!
Just the present uncertainty and increase in pasture feeding-ability could hold demand and prices down.
