The Belize Progressive Party, BPP denounces the culture of corruption which as Belizeans we have allowed to fester within the government. It was unconstitutional and unlawful for John Saldivar to remain the Minister of National Security, with the evidence presented in the United States Court case with Mr. Lev Derman. The BPP reminds the public that not only John Saldivar is implicated in cases of misconduct as an elected official of the current UDP administration, members of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition, the PUP are also implicated.
The most recent issue of the litigant Mr. Lev Derman in the US Courts on charges of fraud, is by no means an isolated incident involving both UDP and PUP Ministers. Regrettably corrupt and unlawful behavior has become the norm. “PUDP” Ministers are implicated in rolling succession of scandals including the Passport Fraud - the focus of investigations by the Special Select Senate Committee, then the Porto Azul scheme involving Italian investors, followed by the ‘Citizen Kim’ scandal, and the case of Mr. Lamb whom confessed that he was no Building Contractor although legally represented as one by elected officials. These are all evident indicators of the gravity of corrupt behavior from the Prime Minister and his administration. These issues continue to tarnish our country’s reputation in the eyes of the international community.
The Belize Progressive Party reminds the nation that corruption ANYWHERE in government hurts our people EVERYWHERE. The Belize Progressive Party takes this opportunity to encourage BELIZEAN CITIZENS to be the solution we seek. We offer ourselves, everyday working Belizeans, to serve as YOUR AREA REPRESENTATIVES with compassionate decision-making in the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, upholding the BELIZE CONSTITUTION. BPP has the socio-political will, values, vision, capacity, interest and commitment to prioritize the wellness of the NATION.
The Belize Progressive Party realizes that there is a hunger, from the Rio Hondo to the Sarstoon and from Half-Moon Caye to Benque for a BETTER WAY – for every BELIZEAN to feel INCLUSION and experience PROSPERITY, PEACE and PROGRESS regardless of color, creed, ethnicity, race, religion, gender or politics!
The Belize Progressive Party takes this opportunity to invite ALL BELIZEANS, including OUR BROTHERS and SISTERS living in the DIASPORA, to visit the BPP’s Headquarters at the corner of Vernon Street and Partridge Street in Belize City, our website and Facebook page, to get a view of the BPP’s Mission and Vision on:
