The Belize Progressive Party joins the Nation in mourning the deaths of the four (4) Belize Defense Force Airmen Major Adran Ramirez, Major Radford Baizer, Cpl. Yassir Mendez, Cpl. Reinaldo Choco who lost the lives in the line of duty in the early hours of last Thursday February 27, 2020. The Belize Progressive Party extends its heart-felt condolences to the families and love ones of these fallen heroes whom gave their lives in the service of their country.
The Belize Progressive Party is hereby making a special appeal to the Prime Minister and his Government to leave no stones unturned in investigating to the fullest the circumstances that has led to the tragic outcome which claimed the lives of these servicemen. The Belize Progressive Party also appeals to the Prime Minister and his Government to arrange a singular or collective STATE FUNERAL, perhaps in multiple locations, to Honor these Men of Uncommon Valor. The Belize Progressive Party urges the necessary coordination between the Prime Minister’s Office and the families of the deceased BDF Officers: Major Adran Ramirez, Major Radford Baizer, Corporal Yassir Mendez, and Corporal Reinaldo Choco.
